Nuestra Señora de la Soledad

 

 

This is a snapshot, and only a snapshot, of little Nuestra Señora de la Soledad at the corner of Calle San Francisco and Real Salida á Querétaro. She is the least photographed of the classic old churches in town. That is a poignant thing for me because I am ever so fond of this old lady, shopworn as she is. The white sign next to her provides her history in three different languages. However, it is stuck now and does not rotate anymore. Consequently, one can read her history only in French.
