The colonial courtyard behind Starbuck’s uptown. Unless one revels in the ambiance of Starbuck’s–the interior of this one is pretty much like all the rest–one can bring one’s coffee out into this courtyard. I admit that I do this on occasion, but only occasionally, amid all the wonderful locally owned coffee houses in town, some with truly gritty character. I take my coffee seriously but lack sufficient refinement to thrive amid the faux refinement of Starbuck’s.
